Prerequisite: MEG 302, MEG 380, MEG 314 or concurrent enrollment in it, or consent of instructor.
Text: A First Course in Finite Element Method Using ALGOR (2^nd edition), Daryl L. Logan, PWS Publishing Company.
Tools: Students should be desirably familiar with mathematical manipulation software such as MATLAB or MATHCAD. Prior knowledge of ALGOR or any other finite element package is not required. Students should be PC-literate.

HW	30 %
Exams	50 %
Project	20 %
Grading: 85=A, 75=B, 65=C, 55=D
Graduate students will be required to do extra assignments.
