Design a speed reducer with the following specifications:

· 5 horsepower

· Input speed 3600 rpm

· Output speed: 900 rpm

· Overall size: not to exceed 6”x6”x4”

· Life: 10 years at the rate of 5 day week and 8 hour day.

· Moderate level of shocks

Use off-the-shelf items whenever possible. Compare with an equivalent commercial product.
