Project 2

The information below describes an exercise machine (Compound Row). Use the dimensions that you have reached in Project 1 unless you did not end with an acceptable answer. In that case, finish your design before proceeding with this project. You are to analyze the displacement of this machine. The following are suggested steps:

i.         Derive the displacement equations for the two loops of the machine.

ii.       Derive the displacement equations for the critical points in the machine such as shoulder, elbow, etc.

iii.      Write a program, preferably in Mathcad, to simulate the displacement of the machine.
