Motorcycles that are often used on rough terrains need good suspension systems. The figure below shows a testing system for the Kawasaki Uni-Trak motorcycle rear suspension system (not to scale). Analyze the system. The project include the following steps:

  1. Figure out the length of all links based on the size of a regular motorcycle tire.
  2. Identify suitable dimensions to the exciting object to simulate the largest possible bump that the motorcycle will go over.
  3. Identify the linkage loops and joints.
  4. Calculate the degree of freedom of the linkage.
  5. Identify the input link. 
  6. Use Working Model to study this system.
  7. Identify the ranges of the motion of every link.
