Project Format
The objective of projects is
to provide a set of drawings of elements of your project. These drawings should
be used to machine and assemble this project. Your calculation as well as your
common sense should support the dimensions listed on these drawings. Your grade
is based on your drawing, calculations, and the overall appearance of your
project. The project will have the following format:
1.
Title page: This page has the course title, project title,
your name, and date.
2.
Introduction: This section contains brief description of the project
objective.
3.
Drawing: One or more drawing fully
detailed, scaled, and can be used for assembly and machining. Drawings should
have the machine elements identified by numbers.
4.
Calculations: calculations should be neat
and organized. Each element should have its calculation in a separate page.
5.
Conclusion: Include items such as
suggestions for modifying the objective of the project, calculations that did
not produce expected results, etc.
