We
need a recent MSME degreed professional to work on a thermal
hydraulic project relating to solid particles solar receiver
design with our team from UNLV. The job entails being located at
the Sandia National labs in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The effort
is to study some of the fundamental operation of this system in
a real world system setup at SNL. A state of the art digital
photographic camera will be used amongst the different
techniques to characterize the solid flow jet. Salary is
competitive with full benefits.

Post-doctoral researcher position is available in the Department of
Mechanical Engineering-UNLV. The project is funded by DOE and
involves investigating the air duct leakage rates in several
residential and small commercial buildings in the Las Vegas valley.
The applicant should preferably be familiar with the latest
techniques of air leakage duct measurements according to ASTM
standards.

Soldier’s Objective Force Electronics Reliability and
Survivability Technology (Soldier FERST) Program
There is a need for a few Ph.D. level students to work with Dr.
Moujaes in the areas of Thermal Sciences applications in electronic
equipment, flow and chemical kinetics in Lead/Bismuth spallation
loops relating to high level nuclear waste and energy conservation
projects for Sp03 and Fa03 startup.
