Policy On Make-up Labs

There are no make-up labs given unless arrangements are made with the instructor at least 48 hours before the lab day to be missed or in case of illness (must bring a doctor’s note).

Policy On Religious Holidays

It is the responsibility of the student to notify the course instructor no later than the last day of late registration of his/her intention to participate in religious holidays which do not fall on State holidays or periods of class recess. This policy shall not apply in the event that administering the test or examination at an alternative time would impose an undue hardship, which could not reasonably have been avoided, on the instructor or the University.

Academic Accommodations For Disable Students

Students with documented disabilities which may cause them to need assistance, such as help with note taking or additional time to write exams, etc, are encouraged to go to the UNLV Disability Resource Center as soon as possible to make arrangements with that office for such support services as may be needed. The Disability Resource Center is located in the Student Support Services Office, Room 137, Reynold's Student Services Complex. The phone number is 895-0866. Every effort will be made to work with students requiring such support services, IF they have coordinated that need through the UNLV Support Services office.
